I have always been interested in the question that Dan raises as to whether God has an IPOD. Is the millennium the fruit of all the inspiration to create new technology, or does all that dissolve in the light of the new world? Do our terrestrial blackberries have LCD screens, or are we just sitting under a tree with the lambs and the lions eating exquisitely tasty berries? I would be interested in any scriptural or prophetic insights into the subject. What are the devices of the next state?
Is the millennium going to be high tech?

no matter what power we assume God has, we must assume that he knows how it works. Since that is the essence of technology is applied knowledge, I would also assume God uses the technologies available to him unless he enjoys doing something the hard way just to stay in practice. If I were immortal, I imagine I would be even more likely to wax nostalgic since time would no longer be a factor.
Arthur C. Clark said “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
I wonder what is the “hard way?” If you can command the elements, then wouldn’t you just command the elements?
During the Millennium, do we learn to do the same? Or do we need technology of some sort to do it for us in the mean time?
Devices, devices. It’s all a question of devices. If things grow, do we trim beards or clip nails? Is computer memory useless when the spirit remembers all? Do heavenly choruses always perform live or is it ever recorded? How do we then listen on demand? Is genealogy recorded or memorized? If it is recorded, what do we write with? Maybe the real question is, if we can eat, is there soup? Juice? And what are we slurping it from? Bowls? If there are spoons, why not IPODS?
